He glanced back at me from his spot between my knees, eyes filled with wonder, when he discovered the effect of those little hands on water—<i>splash…splash splash</i>—and squealed with delight when the mighty undertow he created knocked 3 bottles into the soapy water and returned Mr. Ducky to his grasp.</p> <p>Baby’s First Smile, Baby’s First Haircut: these moments will be lost, buried in a landfill with the rest of the book that got shredded after a temperamental fit over the “father’s family tree” section. No regrets, though.
